1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by LNC WALKS LTD. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Services

LNC WALKS LTD provides dog walking, dog sitting and licensed home boarding services. Service details, availability and pricing are shown on our website or confirmed in writing before booking.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once:

  • the service request has been accepted by us, and
  • payment has been successfully completed, where required.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking if the service is not suitable, the required information has not been provided, or we are unable to accommodate the request.

4. Customer Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your dog, including any relevant behavioural, medical, dietary or safety-related details. You must tell us in advance if your dog has any special needs, aggression issues, medical conditions or restrictions.

If information is withheld or found to be incorrect, we may cancel the booking or refuse service.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • ensuring your dog is fit for the booked service,
  • providing any required food, medication, lead, harness or other items,
  • keeping your contact details up to date,
  • being available for communication regarding the booking,
  • ensuring payment is made in full where required.

6. Service Delivery

We will provide the booked service with reasonable care and skill. Services will be delivered in accordance with the booking details and any agreed instructions. We may adjust the service slightly where necessary for safety, weather, route conditions or the dog’s welfare.

7. Home Boarding and Sitting

For home boarding and sitting services, you agree that:

  • your dog may be supervised in a home-based environment,
  • your dog must be suitable for home-based care,
  • we may require vaccination, feeding and emergency contact details before the service begins,
  • we may refuse or end the service if your dog presents a risk to people, animals or property.

8. Health and Welfare

You must inform us of any illness, injury, medication or special care requirements before the service begins. We will act reasonably in the best interests of the dog, including seeking veterinary help in an emergency where needed.

9. Cancellations by Us

We may cancel a booking if:

  • the service is unsafe or unsuitable,
  • payment has not been completed,
  • required information has not been provided,
  • the dog’s behaviour creates a safety concern,
  • there is an emergency or other circumstance beyond our control.

If we cancel a confirmed booking for reasons not caused by the customer, we will offer a refund or reschedule where appropriate.

10. Payment and Refund

Payment for services is collected on-site or via bank transfer prior to the session.
Cancellations should be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Late cancellations may result in a rescheduling fee.

11. Late Arrival or Missed Appointment

If you are late or unavailable at the scheduled time, the service may still end at the originally agreed time. Missed appointments may be treated as a late cancellation and may not be refundable.

12. Limitation of Liability

We will take reasonable care in providing our services. However, we are not responsible for losses or damages caused by:

  • inaccurate information provided by the customer,
  • failure to disclose relevant health or behaviour issues,
  • events outside our reasonable control,
  • actions of third parties or animals not under our control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.

13. Photography and Updates

We may send booking updates, including photos or messages about your dog, for service-related communication. Any use of images for marketing will only be done where appropriate and in line with applicable law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
